The manager of Southwestern Adventist University’s wholly owned subsidiary, Southwestern ColorGraphics commercial printing company, has resigned. According to University President Eric Anderson, Tim Tidwell resigned on Monday morning, May 12. “We appreciate Tim’s nine years of dedicated service to ColorGraphics and the University,” said Anderson.
Anderson met with the ColorGraphics management team and spoke to company employees on Monday. He said that the University remains committed to the success of the company. He told employees that the board of trustees for Southwestern Diversified Industries, which oversees ColorGraphics’ operations, had recently rejected an opportunity to sell the company. “Colorgrahics is poised to do very well this year,” he said. “We have an outstanding management team in place.”
The chief operating officer of ColorGraphics remains Larry Garrett, Vice President for Financial Affairs at Southwestern Adventist University.
“ColorGraphics and the college go back more than one hundred years,” commented Anderson. “We count on them to contribute to the mission of the University.”
